Information on the increase in freight and logistics costs
In recent months, there have been noticeable cost increases in the freight and logistics sector, affecting many industries and processes. We are also affected by this and would like to explain openly and transparently why this development cannot be stopped - and how we can still remain strong together.
Cost increases in human resources are a key factor: Wages and salaries in the logistics sector are rising, which is fundamentally positive - because qualified specialists deserve fair conditions. At the same time, this means significantly higher financial costs for us and our partners.
In addition, there are new legal requirements that are associated with additional organizational and technical measures. These regulations relate to safety regulations or environmental standards, for example - they are important, but also entail higher costs.
In addition, new labeling requirements now apply in logistics, which require more time, materials and personnel. This also leads to a noticeable increase in logistics processes.
Last but not least, we are faced with fundamental cost increases in the area of logistics - from rising energy and fuel prices to bottlenecks in transport capacities and packaging materials. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
The shipping costs will be as follows from 20.06.2025:
- Telephone order:
Shipping costs: €7.95
Shipping costs threshold: €1250.00
SMU: €3.25 - Online order:
Shipping costs: €6.95
Shipping costs threshold: €1250
SMU: €3.25
We know: Cost adjustments are never welcome. But they are necessary in order to continue working reliably, safely and with quality in mind. We face these challenges together - with a clear view to the future, innovative solutions and a partnership-based approach.
Additional partner for forwarding
In order to guarantee the increased volume in pallet shipping with the usual quality and to further optimize our processes, increase transparency and ensure even better delivery capability, we are switching our pallet shipping to the forwarding company Koch from next week.
The changeover will give us a higher degree of transparency and efficiency. The previous shipments via our existing forwarding partner (KVE) will continue - the cooperation with Spedition Koch will be supplementary.
We are convinced that this measure will contribute to a more efficient and reliable handling of our forwarding deliveries.
Where do we deliver to?
We deliver to all countries that are not affected by sanctions or excluded from trade restrictions due to embargoes.
Your personal contact will be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
